This “recipe” officially comes from my sister, but it always reminds me of how my cousin, who rarely cooks, is regularly consulted by her friends on how to make this. It’s pretty much an all-in-one breakfast and is surprisingly very satisfying. Serve with fruit & a smile!
1 slice of bread
Lightly butter both sides of the bread. Using a juice glass or a biscuit cutter, cut out a circle from the center of the bread and place “hole-y” bread in a small skillet over medium heat. Crack egg in center of circle and allow to cook until opaque. Using a spatula, flip egg/toast and cook until desired doneness. Remove from heat and then toast remaining buttered bread circle in skillet. Serve immediately.
